The Practice Nurses

Elaine Andrews and Maureen Duncan

are our Practice nurses with whom appointments can be made through reception. They perform numerous tasks including:

• Registration Medicals
• Immunisation
• Taking Blood tests
• Cervical smears
• Dressings
• Removal of stitches
• Ear syringing
• Blood Pressure Checks
• Asthma Clinic
• Diabetes Clinic

It is most useful when you are booking an appointment with the nurses that you tell the receptionist what the appointment is for - that way we can give you an appointment of a suitable duration.

We also employ a clinical assistant and have the services of a phlebotomist (for blood sample taking).
